This house is one of our favourite demonstrations of curb appeal! We’ve added more curb appeal to this modular home by adding dormers, window accents, vertical siding accent and finished it off with black pillars to make a statement. After the home was delivered, we added a large front deck with a black aluminum raining, black eavestroughing and cement parging as opposed to traditional vinyl skirting to add a luxury element to this modular home.

Designing exterior accents can be intimidating on your own, but our design team is here with you every step of the way. Here are some things to consider when building your home and selecting exterior finishes.

Start at the front door. While it may sound cliche, it’s the perfect starting point! We have a wide array of front door options that can wow your guests the minute they arrive. We have options with glass inserts to brighten your front entryway, sidelights for a more classic look and offer painted or standard white colors. Money hack – if you select a standard white door, with a little DIY and guidance, you can paint the door yourself!

It’s the little things that always increase your home’s resale value – consider adding dormers during the construction stage. Dormers are an easy way to add more character to your home and the investment will surely be worthwhile!

Light up the night with strategically placed pot lights that highlight your home! Electrical work is best left to the professionals when your home is being built – it can be very difficult to add things like built-in pot lights, coach lights at entrances and electrical outlets in the eaves for those Christmas lights.
